Now defunct Canadian extreme metal outfit Strapping Young Lad(Although Devin Townsend still goes about his solo career like a madman) released this bombshell at the peak of Devin Townsend's bipolarity, thus lending this album its animal-in-a-cage style vocals, insane keyboards, blasting drums, and shredding guitars. The sounds almost seem to be fighting their way to your ears, each instrumental track swallowing one another like fish progressively getting bigger, vomiting one another out, and eating each other all over again. It's about as crazy as that description, in 32x fastforward. Hold onto your hats, kids, this is gonna be a Shitstorm.
