Trivium - 2002 EP
The band that people adore and loathe in equal measure for daring to be Thrash Metal and Metalcore at the same time and also earning nominations for the "next Metallica" (However unintentional it was). With this EP they start out with a mix of Power Metal, Thrash Metal, lots of Progressive influence(i.e. long songs), and the dreaded Chemical X, Metalcore. Recommended songs: To Burn The Eye, Requiem
